October 25, 200322 yr this is why Beinfest is our GM and Jack is the manager... Pudge Stays! If WC was the GM he'd clone DLee 25 times... Actually I'd trade him. But that's not the point.

October 25, 200322 yr i believe your point is that even though he doesnt have good bat control he should be the starter next year and we should keep Mike Lowell who doesnt have bat control either

October 25, 200322 yr i believe your point is that even though he doesnt have good bat control he should be the starter next year and we should keep Mike Lowell who doesnt have bat control either They're both pull-hitters. So sue them. I never said either of them will bat 3rd, did I? Because that's the spot where you need good bat control. Neither of them will bat 3rd. But are you going to sit here and tell me that, because he doesn't have good bat control, Mike Lowell is a bad hitter? No, you're not going to say that about Mike. The same philosophy applies toward Castro.
October 25, 200322 yr what? dude your saying re-sign Lowll and let Pudge go because Castro will get the job done. but your also saying that Redmond was getting playing time even though he struggled because of his good bat control compared to Castro who cant do what Red does. and then you say Lowell doesnt have good bat control either but he should stay. what the f***? KJC get him, swirllee time
October 25, 200322 yr You'd trade the 25 DLees? :lol :lol :lol :lol incredible well... you can always trade 25 DLees for a cookie... :thumbup

KJC get him, swirllee time That's because when Redmond was getting all that playing time, he was the ONLY guy truely capable of the hit-and-run. NOW we have Conine, who is capable of it. THIS is what allows Castro to be in the line-up.
October 25, 200322 yr im not in this anymore. Wild Card, keep up the good work... * vomits * 02pac, time to hit up Off Topic... :bandit

October 25, 200322 yr so if Conine wasnt in the lineup you would say keep pudge but let go of lowell Probably, because you probably would be unable to accomplish what this line-up is built to do: play smallball, and manufactuer (sp) cheap runs. BUT, we do have Conine, so this isn't an issue.
October 25, 200322 yr dude look: if he can hit than he can hit and he would get playing time despite the BS bat control issue. they didnt have confidence in him so they're not giving him playing time thats why they signed pudge in addition to the fan attraction (which here doesnt work). so because he has no bat control he's not going to play even though he's good enough to be the starter next year? its bulls***
October 25, 200322 yr so because he has no bat control he's not going to play even though he's good enough to be the starter next year? its bulls*** I NEVER SAID THAT! Conine will bat third next season, because he has the bat control to hit in that spot. Castro will start, just not in that spot in the line-up!
October 25, 200322 yr forget the lineup, if Castro could hit and they had confidence in him this year they wouldve given him more playing time and you know it.
October 25, 200322 yr Opening Day, 2004: And now, batting 5th for your world champion Florida Marlins, the catcher, number seventeen... !!!!!!!!!!
October 25, 200322 yr Opening Day, 2004: And now, batting 5th for your world champion Florida Marlins SHUT UP!!!! If you jinx this championship, I'm deleting you.
October 25, 200322 yr knock his @$$ out! STEVE BARTMAN 2: STEVE BARTMANER Staring: Josh Clinton (WC) Rated R
October 25, 200322 yr Josh.... Mouth. shut it. If Castro was so good...he would of recieved playing time in situations other than pinch hitter in situations very favorable to his success. Wake me when Castro actually produces for an extended stretch in the majors.
October 25, 200322 yr Is it a bad thing that Wild Card's stuff in this thread has made me hope Ramon Castro never does anything in the majors? I honestly want this guy to go somewhere else and hit .210 now so I can watch you all laugh at him.
