I could be 100% wrong but I don't Maybin, if he goes down, goes to AAA Albuquerque, rather he goes to the AA Carolina Mudcats. The reason being breaking balls don't real break much in the PCL and his issues at bat are clearly off-speed and breaking pitches.

Ok guys, please excuse my ignorance here but why not put Josh Johnson on the 60 day DL. isnt he out until at least mid June?

McPherson would not be served by being a back up anyhow, let him work at hitting full time. I also agree that Maybin should go to AA.

He can be moved to the 60 day DL while on the 15 day DL, and it will still be retroactive to march 21st.

 

As to why not...why do something if you don't have to? When we need a roster spot, he'll be moved there.

 

And I believe he's out until atleast August, and more likely we won't see him this year.

More good news. Keep the kids in the minors.

I still think Nolasco is best suited for the rotation at this time. Give Volstad & Vandy a bit more seasoning.

I'd like to see Badenhop up sometime he needs a tad more seasoning, he seems a good fit for the set-up role. Tough break for Andino, too bad for him the Marlins have Hanley and Dan, hopefully the Marlins trade him so he can see what he can do in the bigs on an everyday basis.
