Hendrickson needs to be released

Featured Replies

Well the good news is in the PBP this morning that Johnson is one, maybe two minor league starts away from rejoining the club and Sanchez is a few weeks behind him. It boggles the mind that by August 1st (if all works out) we could actually have a starting rotation again.

I can think of a number of rotations going into September worse than Johnson, Miller, Sanchez, Nolasco and Olsen. And then there's Mitre. :brigginbounce

And now our bats now have fallen alseep.

No, they haven't.

We're OPSing .717 in June. That's not good. Our bats have fallen asleep.

League average OPS this month is .722. We're basically at that, so that means we are batting averagely, not badly.

OPS by month:

===========

April - .785

May - .778

June - .717

Looking at those numbers I can't understand how anyone would say out bats aren't slumping.

I said they aren't asleep. They are average. How do I know that they are average, you ask?

We have been hitting average.

As much as I "Love" Rab I am going to have to agree with him... average at best hitting wise.

OK, the nats are a terrible offense-Who here believes that if Hendrickson really struggles tonite, then he should get no more starts. Come to think of it, he would probably get one more until Josh comes up.

Wrong,

He is an innings eater, when JJ comes up he will be our number 5 starter and or a long bullpen man.

Ty my 2 cents.

I agree, but not happy about it

We don't release him. He just slides into the pen. He could be effective there. It's his stamina that's hurting him as a starter.

that gand slam by washington could end starter job for Hendrickson he not play well for one month and one day he started july in bad way allowing grand slam to worst team in NL

When JJ comes back I want this clown off the team, or at least as far as humanly possible from a baseball.

No No.

Send him to Philly :mischief

You've given me an idea here. Lets clone him and send him all over the NL East: Philly, NY, and Atlanta. How does that sound?

Where do I sign?

you could also send Hendrickson to Washington, but he's probably better than anyone on their pitching staff anyway.

I don't know about that. They say that Teddy Roosevelt has a nasty curve. He's not very fast though...

He ain't better than Ballester!

He'll be in long relief as soon as JJ gets back. I don't care if JJ gives up 20 runs, anything is better than Hendrickson.
