July 5, 200818 yr Yeah, Jeter really has All-Star numbers this year. What a joke. Yay for Hanley, though. Our voting paid off.
July 5, 200818 yr I actually don't mind the Jeter pick because none of the AL shortstops are putting up good numbers. Jeter is actually second in OPS amongst AL shorstops. Hooray for Hanley!
July 6, 200818 yr That is awesome news! Congrats to Hanley and to everyone who voted for him. He certainly deserved the starting the nod. Now let's hope Uggla is chosen as well (I mean he pretty much has to be, right?).
July 6, 200818 yr Congrats Hanley! which other marlin has been voted to start the all star game? Gary Sheffield, however he didn't start the year with the fish.

July 6, 200818 yr Yeah, Jeter really has All-Star numbers this year. What a joke. Yay for Hanley, though. Our voting paid off. First let me say Congratulations To Hanley, I would like to know what Jeter have to do with this, he play in the AL, every year we have someone who make the ASG who numbers are not the best but they make the team from past years, just be happy for Hanley and hope he have a great game.
July 6, 200818 yr Will this mark a change in Marlins repping at the All-Star game in seasons to come? Will Hanley become a perennial All Star starter from here on out? Who knows, but congratulations Hanley! You deserve it.
July 6, 200818 yr This all star game selection show is a joke. They have yet to even mention the National League. All but three starters in the AL are from Boston or New York.

Have you ever stop to think, fan vote for the team and in New York and Boston you have a large fan base, both teams average about 30,000 a game, we had fans here voting 7,000 times, can you imagine they fans doing the same thing, Just congratulate Hanley and stop nit picking.
