July 30, 200817 yr Mike Pelfrey is becoming a big time pitcher. It should be a fun pitching matchup. The only matchup that concerns me is Pelfrey vs Jacobs but hopefully Mike can roll some over to 2nd base.
July 30, 200817 yr We did a terrible job cashing in tonight with runners in scoring position and the ungodly amount of strikeouts our hitters are putting up is monsterous.It would be nice to put some balls in play. . Olsen pitched well...we'll just have to get them tomorrow..

Just throw him some junk on the 1st pitch, and there's a good chance you got him. Hence the horrible .OBP.

Hence the horrible .OBP. yep, all they have to do the Jacobs is throw him a fastball up and in or a sinker/slider/changeup low and away and Jacobs always strikes out.
July 30, 200817 yr some moves need to be made for this team to make a run. We struck out 11 times i believe tonight i have never seen a team that strikes out as much as we do . stated simply we need players who put the ball in play more . Tomorrow is a BIG game we have yet to prove with this group of players we can win a series at home against the Mets . we need to do so tomorrow!
July 30, 200817 yr Today was an ok game. We didn't have any errors or bonehead plays. Mets just got "the" hit today and won. We'll get em tomorrow.
