there's always something of the same thing...and I can hear freddy saying is ok that happens. If we can't win this type of games and we lose it without being beat then I don't see how we're gonna win against other teams that are in the race.

Pathetic. Watching them play is beginning to anger me.

could be worse

atleast we weren't swept

atleast we aren't the Nats

Is it okay to say the season's over now? If not, when?

The Marlins play as of late reminds me of a phrase some people used to use here a while back.

"Regression to the mean."

At least now we can see that the emperor is naked after all.

Pussies! All of them! You can't beat the f***ing Giants then you don't deserve to go to the playoffs. They don't wanna hit, their closer is a useless piece of sh*t, and their defense is horrible. Simply put: Not a playoff team.

I actually expected Gregg to throw a wild pitch once SF got a runner at 3B.

But really...the offense of the 2nd half, once again, lost the game. Who was pitching for SF, again? Matt Palmer?...sure it wasn't Jim Palmer? :confused

Our hitters are getting beat by average pitchers. Somebody in the line up needs to nut up and get it done. All the hype about Ross is fading away, he looked absolutely terrible today (not to mention with bases loaded). It's about consistency not streaks. This team no longer believes in itself. I hope this is just a funk and pray that it will end soon because the time is short-they can't afford to loose anymore games period.

Not only does Gregg walk the leadoff man, he also lets him score on a wild pitch. Good stuff.

He needs to win a Brown Glove, "Brown" representing the color of sh*t.

its just over, even if the Mets lose. They are not winning games they should. they are done. Unless there is a collapse and they go on a run, but that is not the way things are looking. Lets enjoy the season and hope they win more than they lose.

This sucks i cant take much more of this. Were gonna need to put together a run like the mets did 8 to 10 in a row to get back in this. Bull pen suckiness is contagious i think, one guy sucks and the rest get it too.

IMO greeg realies way to much on his breaking ball he loves to throw it to the first batter he faces for the first pitch then he loves to go to it late in at bats against the next few hitters and he falls behind.

let look forward to 2009 season and new manger fred fail in second half season howwww can you go from 21/2 game back too MAYBE 6 GAME BACK SHAME ON YOU FRED!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :banghead :chair :censored :guillotine :hanged :no

I agree THEY don't deserve to be in the playoffs, but, sh*t, I frickin deserve to see this team in the playoffs after putting up with so much crap and wasting another 3 hours. I'm depressed. Anybody else depressed? I need some CBT.
