August 29, 200818 yr It's time to accept the fact that this team is not a playoff team. Not the end of the world...the near future looks good. Anibal Sanchez will quite possibly be our #5 next year, which speaks volumes of how competitive we can be if this starting rotation can stay healthy the whole year. It's been a good year. They were not the laughing stock they were expected to be. They have exceeded expectations. Continue watching...for fun. Watch for the starting rotation; watch to see if Mike Jacobs, for example, can get hot and increase his trade value. Enjoy the last month. The team won't give up on games...they'll be playing for a spot on the team next year...or a spot on another team. This team isn't full of millionaires, so most of them will be playing for a job next season, as well. Watch and continue rooting for the Marlins, and enjoy whatever else you enjoy. Whether it be Dolphins football, Heat basketball, Panthers hockey (my other enjoyment)...do your thing. Don't stress over whether or not this team will make the playoffs. Fact is, they are 6 games back of not 1 but 2 teams. Lets just hope we get to see some of our farm system in September, as well.

August 29, 200818 yr As good as the first half was, and as excited as I was to brag about MY team... the second half has just been a complete embarrassment...nothing makes any sense...I just dont even bring the team up to friends anymore... sad still sad
