Canada's starter has finally begun to struggle, as the United States has now taken a 4-2 lead with Brian McCann's HR. Not sure how Leroux will be used, either. Should be interesting.

March 7, 200917 yr Author Leroux gets McCann and Victorino to pop out, in the bottom of the 6th inning. He'll probably be back out there for the 7th inning. Edit: Leroux finishes his day by pitching 2/3 of an inning of scoreless ball. He is replaced in the 7th by highly-touted prospect, Phillipe Aumont.

Sacrifice flys do not count as at bats...at least, not according to MLB.com, so Han Ram had a .500 avg for the game with 1 rbi, 1 single, 2 walks and one very costly error.

March 8, 200917 yr i heard that Hanley got error during game He dove for a ball, making a nice play, but threw the ball away on the throw to first, allowing two runners to come in. Was a pretty big error, and he probably should have held onto the ball.
March 9, 200917 yr and Lindstrom is in the game diving stop by Chipper, saved Lindy from 2 runs Phew...was worried when that came off the bat, looked at first like one of those hits they got in that string of hits last inning.
