Sure, Milladge took the worst possible route on that ball and it should have been an F8, but Boni was blazing around the paths. Great game for him. That said, remember that this is just one game. Incredible though.

No joke--I was at the game and as soon as I saw the center fielder picked up the ball, I looked back to second, but then had to turn my head as Bonifacio was already rounding third.

Incredible though. I do think milledge should have caught it but it was hit right at him and it just carried. On tv it looked like milledge just kept running back really the only thing he coulda done was get a better jump or run faster. Milledge probably thought with how little boni is no way the ball carries over my head.

Oh, before the ball dropped I knew Boni was going all the way, I was actually jumping up and down screaming "He's coming round! He's coming round!". Milledge misplayed that ball pathetically, and with Boni's PF Flyers, there was no doubt in my mind that he was going all the way.

April 7, 200917 yr very good game i was at game security guard at ballpark are not nice at all my envelope with ticket fell on field because of wind in ballpark none wanted to help but i reported them to customer service and lady at ticket booth reprinted them it was for saturday game ok back to game it was play game only thing that got me that Kensing have a bit of trouble getting 3 out in top of 9 but he did get it that what count and Nolasco play very well and bullpen did very well too hitting was good and every thing else this was team that we suppose to beat we did

The Hanley granny was awesome especially since T-Hutton was talking about it right before he hit it out. Alot of fun to watch!! I just bought tickets for tomorrows game! I will be there!
April 7, 200917 yr Regardless of what the future holds for EB I think we all now have a better idea of what Fleming and his guys saw when they advocated picking him up. Probably will never have another game like this but he certainly showed off his bag of tools today. Yes, only ONE game, but could not have asked for much more out of the guy. I love the 3 SB, particularly. The HR really should have been an out. It was a hanger that EB couldn't even put to the warning track. Although, everyone who had said speed is overrated should be called into question today. EB really set the tone with his base-stealing. His ABs did not look bad, overall, though. Slap hitter, to be sure, but he can put the bat on the ball. I liked what I saw. I love how both Maybin and EB got off to ridiculous starts. Bodes well for their careers together. So, yea, I heard speed is overrated, and his OBP is the only thing that matters. But then I realized EB just made up for his purported statistical deficiencies in one F'ing game. All the guys with sabermetric fethishes can go plug that into their calculators. I mean... to say the guy does not belong in the majors... well, he definitely did today. Still has a long way to go, though.
