Marlins tags for your autos....

Featured Replies

Seems like I am starting to see more cars with Marlins' tags on them....I think it's a great way to show support for the team and ballpark if you can swing the extra dollars.....

Just a thought....

I've posted this before. Here's mine. I did it in response to all the RedSox tags up here.

Haha, love it!

I don't have a Marlins tag, but I have a Marlins frame around my plate, a 1'x1' decal on the back window, and Marlins floormats.

I have the Marlins front plate (but my truck doesn't have the place to put it), so I just have the frame around my tag. I plan on looking for a different front bumper for my truck (GMC Sonoma, there's like 8 different front bumpers made for it from factory) to one that has a spot to put a tag. I paint cars for a living, so it's not really a big deal.

I've had mine since 1999..I'm curious as to the future of this tag. it's only going to change with time (from Florida Marlins to Miami Marlins).

I'm going to put my current one on the wall when the Miami Marlins one comes out.

From one outnumbered New Englander to another, that's great. :thumbup

So you know it fits more than just the Sonoma. And that you can find perfectly good ones for next to nothing in salvage yards.

Had one since my first car in 96. Sigh, I miss that Camry. Stuck w/ piece of crap Malibu since that's all I could afford when my Camry finally gave up the goat a few years ago.

Seriously it's only an additional $25 (which goes to charity), so I don't understand why more fans don't have 'em.

They'll probably change it during the off season prior to the 2012 season...The Rays changed theirs last year when they switched logo's/colors, etc...

I have mine on the back, and during baseball season, I have the White Sox on the front...during football/basketball I switch the front to Michigan State....

We'll be up your way in May to visit family in Andover, MA and my best friend from college in Manchester....

I tagged my arm in Jan or Feb of 1997. Does that count??

No. Get with the program you fair weather fan!

Okay. An extra $25??? Do they have a payment plan??

Curious, I have a Fins Plate (Long Story) Can I cover up the Fins logo with a Marlins logo legally?

There is about 8 different options as far as a front bumper goes. Although they bolt right up, I have to find one that matches the grill and headlights on my model, that has the tag area. Five of my friends work at a auto body parts retailer where I get the parts at near cost. So the bumper cover would run under $50. I just haven't gotten around to it. I have to go and have them take out every bumper so I can pick the best suited for my truck.
