May 11, 200917 yr I usually dont look to much into his games in the minors. His stuff is so good he doesnt really have to spot it vs them. He can sorta just throw and do good. I hope he can tap into some of that potential of his when hes back cause were gonna need it bad unless Ricky, JJ, and Volstad pitch lights out. I

What does that have to do with how he pitched post that start Thirdly, he had a 3.93 BB/9 in his stretch, the stretch we're talking about, the stretch you brought up originally but are now completely ignoring. Yes, that is not ideal, but to say he didn't turn it around is fraudulent. Fourth, if you're using that as "he doesn't pitch enough innings to have a high ERA", you do realize that 1) the reason he didn't go deep into starts is because he gave up a lot of earned runs, which would mean a high ERA and 2) his ERA is almost 6 the past two years, so uh, how does he not have a high era? That statement just makes no sense.

May 11, 200917 yr He did well in his rehab starts in Jupiter and Carolina last year too, but it didn't necessarily translate to the bigs. It's good to see that he's apparently healthy, but I wouldn't read much into the numbers.
May 12, 200917 yr Hopefully, Miller comes back and pitches "average." I don't expect him to wow or to be lights out, but I want him to be consistent and to pitch well into the game.
