Seriously Cabrera wasn't as bad as this guy at 3rd! Emilio single handedly cost us the game tonight... It's time to admit it that he was a mistake, and send him down or release him because he is a terrible ball player!

This guy makes Junior Felix look like a stud out there!

He's been decent at 3B for the most part, but he can't hit for sh*t. Hanley needs to be leading off again.

There is a lot of players you can blame for the loss...wasn't just Emilio...

We should have resurrected the major league career of Junior Spivey.

Junior Spivey is the man.

One bad defensive play (or game) does not make a player a bad defender

One of the positives about Bonifacio is his defense at third base, it's the best we've seen there since Lowell.

Pinto didn't help matters by almost immediately hitting a guy.

Both teams played sloppily tonight, defensively speaking.

If I am not mistaken, Bonifacio really hasnt been all that great over at 3B. Maybe not bad, but nothing special either.

Bull crap! Bonifacio is terrible at 3rd! Cabrera was better then him at 3rd! Cantu was better then him at 3rd! Are you F'in blind!? This guy has booted balls all season over there, and he has a weak arm for a 3b.

Yea he's fast, and gets in on bunts or infield singles well but he's messed a couple of plays like that to! He has a lot of mental mistakes also.

Okay so you send him down and then.....

Move Cantu to 3b and platoon Gload and Helms?

Play Coghlan at 3b and have who in the OF ???

Not many options at this time

They need to trade Bonifacio and Hermida together as quickly as possible.

You guys realize that Hermida gets on base at an obscene rate dont you people?

I think Spike is right.

Very true. If Gaby Sanchez isn't injured, we don't have this problem. I think the baseball Gods are finally getting us back for winning 2 WS titles in such a short period of time...

Do you realize his OBP + SLG blows for a corner OF?

No, but you are blind with hatred. Calling him worse than Cantu and CABRERA (lol) just shows that you're not able to think rationally when you think of him.

I am completely indifferent to him. I look at what's there, and rate what's there.

This early in the season, Bonifacio hasn't been below a top 10 3B defensively... routinely top 5

Based on what?

I looked at with RZR and OOZ this afternoon and he was about average.

Boni's defense has not been stellar, but it is a clear upgrade over Cantu at 3rd. Worth noting that he is playing a new position.

IMO his athleticism and defensive potential are obvious, and he does have considerable range. However, like all of our IFs, he makes too many errors.

Seems he has done worse as of late, at end of april he was rated highly but he's been falling to the average now, so you guys are right there.

Though also hate using fielding stats so early in the season, since a full season is barely enough of a sample size. But, they speak of what he has done up to this point, so, yeah.

No, Cabrerra is not even able to play 3B anymore which is why he now plays 1B and DH's.

Bonifacio is a better fielder then Miguey which isn't a huge accomplishment.

Bonifacio is average at worst and it's only his 1st season playing there like Cantu last year but Emilio is by far better at 3rd then Cantu aswell.

His hitting however is terrible. He tries to slpa the ball but always hooks it foul, he chaces 60% of pitches above his head and strikesout alot. He also has a low OBP for a lead off man at .301 which basically negates his speed.

He had his week of glory then suddenly just, imploded.

It is pretty doubtful that he is traded becasue he is veristile but hopefully he find a nice replacent (probably Maybin in a while) to call him down and help him try to find a groove.

We realy need to take him out of the Lead off spot IMO, but you realyy don't want to move Hanley out of the 3.

Its a tough choice and hopefully we make a good one

Yeah, early in the season he was around top 5.

Is this the same guy everyone was going crazy over the first couple of weeks of the season.

Everyone is depressed from the losses. The sky is falling, the world will end in 2012 and the Marlins attendance is getting worse.
