Nice win. I didn't see it all but I did see the good parts. We need a couple more like this and we'll need some help.

Freddi was fired up there in the 9th. Our bench rocked tonight.

I think Hanley showed great character and patience in that last at-bat. I mean his calls were terrible and he just stayed in there. Well done team. :thumbup

How does that prove that it isn't? If it had been Lidge in the 8th and he blew the game then, would it matter? A bad pitcher is a bad pitcher.

Also, take note ESPN. Marlins games are full of excitement. Maybe you'll reconsider how many Fish games you want to show next season.

Remember, he was "Light Out Lidge" until this before sucking for a few years in Houston. He then went to Philly, had a good year, and then reverted right back to Lidge. He's got a case of the nerves, I think.

He has had some amazing clutch hits for us this year, and he's starting to show his power too. Really hopeful that he gets a shot and puts it all together.

That was an awesome ending. I remember being laughed at for suggesting Brett get some playing time instead of Cameron Maybin early in the season.

 

I guess all your saber metrics didn't help because Brett is one day going to be an everyday player and Cameron is STILL a bum.

Carroll should have already been in the starting lineup all year this year. Its the same thing with Ross a few years ago. They are afraid to play him everyday or something, i dunno.
