May 30, 201016 yr Teams generally don't even consider trading top, young prospects who have several years of low-cost club control guaranteed. The Marlins would have to offer someone like Hanley Ramirez at this point.

May 31, 201016 yr Strasburg for Oswalt is in the works---per Steve Phillips. We have a better chance landing a top C from the Yankees then Posey. Cervelli has proven to be a good catcher for the future, and the Yanks also have Rommine and Montero in their minors. Because of that depth, they are projecting Rommine at C in the future, Montero at DH, and Cervelli possibly rotating. Personally, I hope they talk to the Yanks and send Cantu, Uggla, whoever to them for Montero. A Catcher who can hit is a plus, no matter their defensive deficencies. Rommine would be cool too, considerign he's considered a pudge type, great d, and decent bat.

May 31, 201016 yr Buster Posey was quite the player at FSU. Played all 9 positions in one game just to show he could. Putting aside reality, the Marlins need a catcher for the next 2-3 years and I say we try to get McCann from the Braves as part of a package involving Fredi. Now back to regularly scheduled reality...
