Admin
Undisclosed amount on the fine but no suspension. Astros' reliever Aneury Rodriguez was suspended 3 games for throwing at Gaby Sanchez.
Dr Beinfest
Interesting... didn't think much of that to be honest.
MarlinKidd101
Why didn't Mujica get suspended?
AnonymousAnomaly
Why didn't Mujica get suspended? I'm not sure, but I'm glad he didn't. We might need him in this series.
MyWheelHouse
If it was intentional, Mujica was an idiot for doing that to our bullpen since he was the only one in the bullpen ready to pitch. Too bad it didn't turn into a brawl
Iowa
Why didn't Mujica get suspended? There was a question about whether Mujica did it on purpose or not... same can't be said for the Houston guy
Dr Beinfest
Why didn't Mujica get suspended? Well who threw the first bean?
Shaft
Why didn't Mujica get suspended? There's doubt that Mujica intentionally beamed someone. Not the case for the Astros
SilverBullet
Why didn't Mujica get suspended? There's doubt that Mujica intentionally beamed someone. Not the case for the Astros No, Mujica wasn't suspended because when he hit Hall, there was no warning issue. Mujica was immedietaly ejected and fined but after his ejection came the warnings. Thus, Rodriguez and Mills were suspended moreso for "intentionally" beaning Gaby AFTER the warning was issued, not for just the beaning itself. Its a technicality but really a stupid rule because whoever strikes first (Mujica in this case) "wins" because they get away with only a fine and then the Astros aren't able to fairly defend themselves because then their automatically suspended. You almost think the Astros should be allowed one free beaning so to speak, cause then both sides would be even. But its clear why this wouldnt work either as it would be condoning all this stupidity to begin with. Oh well.
Jonny Ramos
Undisclosed amount on the fine but no suspension. Astros' reliever Aneury Rodriguez was suspended 3 games for throwing at Gaby Sanchez. Poor guy, it's probably more than what he makes.
Schnellders
3 game suspension for a reliever isn't exactly much seeing as quite realistically they may not be used in that time anyway
ColorNapkin
This was blown way out of proportion.
Orlando Rays
Alright, when I found out the Fish got Javier Vazquez and Edward Mujica, I started banging my head against the wall. WHY OH WHY? Javier Vazquez is one of the most unreliable starters in baseball today (look up the "yankees lose flow chart" on Google). And the main memory I have of Edward Mujica is him giving up a three run lead in the bottom of the 9th inning to the Rays in 2008 with no outs. My opinion, you would've been better off promoting a couple AAAers. Any AAAers.
bobbob1313
Your opinion isn't a good one. It also like 5 months late.
Dr Beinfest
and a poor attempt at hindsight because clearly all you're doing is jumping on boat with a current emotion of yours. And you probably never thought that at all about Vazquez, and probably never ever thought about that in regards to Mujica. Just sayin.
