HitDaCycle
I got to watch this game (finally a game I was able to see!). Awesome job by Anibal. A complete game shutout and we swept the first place, reigning champs for the first time since 1995 I believe Tommy and Rich said. Credit goes to Anibal for pitching amazingly, Cogs and Logan for scoring the run, and Cody for ending the game for us. Thanks Cody!
enterthemadness
29-19...1GB of Phillies for 1st in NL East..and all without Hanley hitting and with no Uggla on the team. Amazing. You just know this may be the race to watch in the NL and MLB. Phillies, Marlins, Braves.

Let's continue the winning streak! Marlins can win the division IF Hanley gets out of his slump, and Volstad and Vazquez can lower their ERA's to just a mid or high 4. Not to mention Buck getting out of his crappy slump. This team is gonna be scary. Yet, the Braves and Phillies will make it tough. Probably will see the NL Wild Card come out of the NL East this year.
canada-marlin24
fantastic pitching by anibal. huge sweep and a great series besides that 9th inning. great way to start the trip but whenever we win so do the phillies.

Probably will see the NL Wild Card come out of the NL East this year. I'm keeping my fingers crossed. We just need to keep winning series. It'd be nice to see us get a winning streak. I think this might be only our second sweep this year? (I'm not 100% certain but that's from what I remember). So I'd like to see us continue the winning streak and hope the Phillies can actually lose a few games. But just keep winning series and we'll see what happens. But yeah, Hanley needs to wake up already. Sucks that he's hurt right now.

Yep, bad move... and also teams get out of slumps and teams cool down. (see Giants) Even though we had pretty dominant pitching that series, and I doubt any team would have done much against us. I do hope we continue our good streak we should take at least 6 games in the 9 game road series and 7 games would be amazing, anything less would be a disappointment.
