Leo and Gaby are gonna be so dealt. Logan can play 1st base.

I wonder how many players will be gone by deadline

If Loria wants to be a total tool-bag-ho-whore, then a lot. If he wants butts in the new stadium, he'll keep a lot. Leo Nunez is only one I would deal...if offers for Gaby are pretty good, move him. And maybe a BP guy...not named Choate and Cizek(?)

i do not think we should move gaby at all.

If a team offers up a borderline 2/3 starter I do.

Moving Gaby? That'd be terrible. You're taking another step back in this lineup thats already bad. You won't find a bat like his without paying decent cash - and you still need another bat or two.

This rotation is better than this. Get JJ back and it's decent. Adding another black hole to our lineup is just about the worst thing you can do for next year. We don't know what Coghlan is gonna be next year, Matt Dominguez isn't going to be a very good hitter, Buck's not a good hitter. All you're left with is the core of Gaby, Hanley, LoMo and Stanton. You either add to it or leave it alone.

Can someone please tell me what happened with Stanton and the fan?

Stanton caught a ball near the foul line.

When he went back to his position, a fan basically stepped his foot on the field and punched him in the back.

Stanton gave him the stare and he took a sh*t.

Welp, hopefully we can get something halfway decent for Leo soon. Not sure who else needs to be traded, most of these guys are young. I guess you might want to move Infante if you get offers since he's a FA after this season anyway. Not sure who would replace him though, our system is looking the thinnest in over a decade.

Got home late & watched the replay... that 7th inning was unbelievable. Little squib shots, 2 balls that could've been double-plays, a rundown that probably should have gone better, leadoff walk, just complete crap.

Hard to fault Gaby for throwing home when he might've had a double-play but I think maybe you give up a run for 2 outs and bases empty... dunno, I guess they figure once we give up a run the game is over generally.

At least Ricky put up a decent fight, 'course against King Felix and our putrid offense he probably knew he was going to have to be perfect .

It's tough to watch the season go down the tubes like this.

In the long run maybe it gets chalked up to getting some of these guys (Stanton and Logan specifically) some more major league at-bats before they can really anchor a lineup.

Stanton looked absolutely terrible out there.

What inning? I don't want to go through the whole game archive.

Edit: Nevermind, it's a featured video.

I guess all the fanfare about Mckeon is over, i shows manager can only do so much, we need players who want to play.

Hitters are easier to find in free agency (and cheaper) than good pitchers.

Having said that, you're probably not going to get much for Gaby as some people here seem to think.

We need hitters more than we need pitchers, though.

That idiot probably went home and told his friends that didn't see the game he challenged a pro athlete to a fight and he didn't want any.

I wouldn't have been upset if Stanton decided to clean that guys clock right in front of the woman he was with that also thought it was so funny what he did.

But he did the classy thing and walked away.
