October 31, 201214 yr It's a violent environment made as safe as possible. So is football but no one thinks it's fake. Professional Wrestling is akin to a Great Broadway Play. Yes you are have watched The Lion King, but does that mean at the end of the day you actually saw a Lion King? In other words..... Wrestling is fake.
October 31, 201214 yr Ban all the users I don't like. So, ban everyone. wtf? Me? WE'VE GROWN TOO FAR APART.
October 31, 201214 yr Fake with dangerous possibilities. Like any action movie scene. Broadway still has that one crazy fan who will kill you because you didn't respond to their texts, emails, calls, mail, and singing telegrams. Still means broadway is fake. AND so is wrestling.
October 31, 201214 yr "Wrestling sucks cause it's fake" is a terrible argument. It's a form of entertainment and just like basically all shows is scripted to try and maximise the interest of the viewer.
October 31, 201214 yr Why did you lock the wrestling thread? It was the only one here with any action. How about taking a vote from the people who have been posting in it for years? So I am supposed to start a new thread when I hear about a wrestling rumor? Or an idea I have about where I think the storylines will go? If anything, I think locking the wrestling thread is going to result in less traffic. Go look at the other sports forum. That section is DEAD now because the official threads were locked. Someone really needs to want to say something to start a new thread, whereas they could just quickly comment on something in the official thread.
October 31, 201214 yr I don't like this idea of eliminating "Official" Threads. These threads help keep things in order and allow for a singular place to post about all topics related to a certain sport. I understand more individual topics popping up makes the place look more "up to date", but I believe it's going to lead to a decrease in posts within the outfield and other sports sections.

It creates an illusion that more people are posting. Who cares if there are ten topics with one reply each? I'd rather have the office thread that I can go and read up on or post about a specific topic. How about only displaying 10 topics per page as opposed to 15? It'll make it seem like things are more up to date that way.

Someone really needs to want to say something to start a new thread, whereas they could just quickly comment on something in the official thread. More topics = more topics to be indexed. Aka more stuff to drive traffic here from search engines. Having topics for each event will add to search engines as opposed to a generic discussion. The idea is to increase traffic to these forums. Not have it flatlined. Same thing applies to official threads. They are lazy, and its driven largely by a lack of overall traffic. The goal is to change this issue.

If some big event happens in a sport other than baseball its to be handled in a generic format technically. The other sports forum is by and large dead as it is right now. As far as wrestling, a sub forum is coming soon where you can talk about any wrestling topic you'd like, from whatever tv show is on, to any character development you'd like to discuss.

In the past it was never a problem. Why has traffic died down?
November 1, 201214 yr While I understand the need to try things to bring in new users, it's just as important to keep the current fan base happy. Could easily drive away active users before new ones are recruited.
November 4, 201214 yr A forum skin that isn't an abomination. What the hell happened? You're in the minority. Nearly every user who has commented on the skin has sent in positive feedback on it.
November 5, 201214 yr I'm not a fan of the new layout of for the forum main page. All of those graphics seem really unnecessary and it involves way too much scrolling.
November 5, 201214 yr The feedback I've gotten privately has been mostly positive. I can put a poll up though asking which layout people prefer. Pinned poll in Marlins forum.
