I want the Marlins to pay me to go to their home games.

Or can I at least get some free tickets? Anyone fed up with this team wanna give your tickets away? Save your gas money. I will take your tickets and walk a few blocks and watch the game for you. I like going to the stadium even if we suck. I'm just poor. Have some pity. On me and on this team.

Also, how about that John Buck.

I have 13 free tickets to the Monday game. I also had free tickets to last tuesday's game, and more tickets because I bought opening day tickets.

The funny thing is, those tickets are treated as if they were sold...

Too bad you didn't say something last year. I couldn't give tickets away.

But it looks like you answered your own question for this year.

I keep hearing on the radio broadcasts that that pizza place you guys have down there gives you free tickets when you order from them.

Plus, you get pizza. Everybody wins.

Based on the commercials, it seems anything you buy or do in South Florida now earns you discounted or free Marlins tickets. Just go to the box office, and hand over every receipt in your pockets. One should do the trick

I got my free tickets for Monday from a cop who received them at work. He doesn't want to sit in through the misery of a Marlins game, so he gave them to me.

On Thursday even though I had already paid for tickets, I ended up using some free tickets from a coworker because his free tickets were in the VIP section right by 3rd base, while the ones I had originally paid for were high up in section 8. Don't know how he got those tickets for free in the first place.

Apparently free tickets are very common, because I know 4 or 5 others who have free Marlins tickets and have offered me some.

And you would have passed up on free Marlins tickets if you were me?

Well, if I were you ...

... no, I wouldn't!

It depends what kind of work you do/lawyer you are, but that can look/be improper in some circumstances. I have my doubts about every single thing you say, anyway.

Whats crazy on Stubhub people have listing with 24 tickets for 30 bucks per. NOT SELLING OF COURSE! I don't understand why they don't lower them to 5 bucks within 5 mins of the listing ending.... Instead they go to waste! SMH

Whatchatalkingaboutwillis, I have 2 tickets for tomorrow if you want to join me (if I even go in the first place.) I'm still debating if I should go, but if someone else wanted to come, I might just go.

It would be nice to meet someone else on this forum.

If you don't intend on going, i'll take them from you

Two hours ago I would have said you could have them, but I got a phone call from a former school friend who is in town. He is of Indian origin and has never seen a baseball game. I invited him and he said yes. It will be good to see the game with him and compare the similarities and differences between baseball and Cricket.

Maybe I can get you free tickets for another Monday? I have a cop friend who gets free tickets from the Marlins through his workplace for Monday games.

Thanks for the offer. I would have taken them but I had work that day. Working retail sucks. Never have a steady schedule which is why it's hard to make plans for anything. Tomorrow will be Jurassic Park 3D day so maybe I'll go to my first game of the season on Wednesday. I'll look on stubhub or something. I really do not want to pay $17 for ticket in the upper deck.
