Braun was simply beefing up to prevent injury. He needed that extra beefycakiness to dive for balls and not get injured.

 

 

From what I understand he's been battling a thumb issue for most of the season. I guess he didn't beef up enough.

 

Maybe the Marlins should think twice about getting him as part of the future Hall of Famer Aramis Ramirez and John Axford package when they trade Stanton there.

We'd be so lucky to get Aramis Ramirez.

I don't understand why the MLB has to get in everybody's business what try put in to there body. Why does it matter? Would they rather have all there players getting hurt or looking skinny and unhealthy who wants to watch that?? They should be able to use anything they want that makes them bigger an stronger and hit it deeper and harder and I need my players big and bad. This stuff makes me so mad why can't they just let the guys play would you rather watch Sammy Sosa and mark magwire compete against each other hitting 70 homers or watch the leader of the MLB have 40 homers and the marlins leader will have 10 at the end of the year.
