Fernandez

Turner

Eovaldi

Alvarez

Koehler

Cishek

Dunn

Ramos

Jennings

Webb

These 10 guys have combined to throw 653 innings this year with a 3.09 ERA. Obviously ERA isn't the perfect stat, but that's still pretty good. It also shows how pathetic our offense has been to not have a better record with that type of pitching.

I did not include the other two pitchers on the roster right now because Qualls (3.02 ERA in 44.2 innings) has no future with this team and Ames has only thrown 3 innings.

What's even better is that while there may be some regression from guys like eovaldi and Alvarez, the overall pitching staff should improve going into next year, given the experience of some of the younger guys, and the placement of guys like Koehler.

Pitching definitely looks to be a bright spot for at least a few more years.

Hopefully some of our younger position players improve come next year, And we pick up at least one decent fa signing (aka, not the polancos or juan pierre's of the world) to make the offense at least ACCEPTABLY bad.

I feel like if the Marlins average 1-1.5 more runs per game, theyre at least a .500 team this year.

Less than 20 games back from the Wild Card now, you guys. Time to make our move.

You thinking Aramis Ramirez?

After the way Stanton's been playing lately the Marlins would be lucky to get a future HOFer like Ramirez in return.

Stanton, Cishek, Yelich for Ramirez. Hell, throw in Fernandez, too.

Don't be silly. The Marlins are giving up a lot there. We could at least grab Axford and Ramirez for that package.

Dude, Ramirez is a future Hall of Famer. Don't get greedy.
