April 2, 201412 yr Marlins 2-0..... Marlins second win in 2013 they had already lossed 9. Any thoughts? Rockies. But our pitching is going to carry us to a lot of wins. Fernandez went god mode in game 1 and the offense put up the most runs its going to have the entire season. Today was another good pitching day and the hitters did just enough to win. Most of our wins this year will be because of our pitching. I'm hoping for an '06 style season from our starting pitchers.
April 2, 201412 yr The best part of this win is we can win like this a lot. No one had a particularly amazing day at the plate. Our pitching carried us. It will continue to carry us. I'm excited we are 2 and 0 and tomorrow Alvarez is pitching. So we should be in that one too. I'm going to reserve my predictions for the rest of the season for a week or so but we might be that competitive team a year early.

Also said something or other to every player and coach, everyone but Yelich acknowledged and responded with something nice to say. Pretty awesome experience.
