May 13, 201412 yr Slowey/Hand/Flynn until the end of June when it becomes Heaney Basically I think that's the case, but I'd rather they wait to September to call-up Heaney, especially if the team starts to lose more between now and the end of June.

Don't see the issue with June. He's major league ready, and calling up in June as opposed to September does nothing to his service time. Give him the extra three months of major league experience so he comes in a hell of a lot better prepared for 2015.

June as opposed to September wouldn't be as drastic as a move as opposed to calling him up now, but it absolutely affects his service time (which he would accrue in those three months).

May 13, 201412 yr I see that Anthony Desclafani started on May 11th and only pitched one inning. He was replaced by Andrew Heaney. That was the same day that Marlins were starting to find about Jose's elbow pain. I don't see Desclafani on the DL and I didn't see any reports about him exiting the game with an injury. Could he be getting the call up to start tomorrow? I see that we still have a TBA for tomorrows starter. I figure if it was going to be Slowey or Hand that they would have already been announced. Anyone hear anything about who is starting? Thoughts?
