Dunn pitched well, too!

Turner earned the win today, pitched well. Fastball up at 95 quite a lot, too.

And thanks, Ryan Braun, for not hustling in the 6th!

I didn't really watch the game before the bullpen got called in, but if this is true why such an inconsistency with velocity? I don't understand how you can be throwing hard one day and not the other. Barring some sort of an injury or fatigue, it doesn't make much sense to me.

As I posted in the game thread, Turner's fastball has shown more life recently. It just wasn't showing up in the results. He's still pretty meh, but there have been positives from Turner this month. He deserved a win in San Diego when every other pitcher was hit around. After the first inning in SF, he pitched well and even got 7 K's overall. Today, he pitched well.

His advanced metrics are actually better than Tom Koehler's. He should grow his hair and make it look like a salad for better results. Also, he should smile more.

I just watched BOS lose to TPA 6-5 in 15 innings for their 9th straight loss. And PIT just went up 3-2 against the Natinals. All is right with the world tonight.
