6/17 Post Game

The division is really underwhelming so far. Somebody should be running away with it at this point, or at least up 4-5 games.

Dan Jennings: "Congrats on your first major league win Sam. Definitely well deserved."

Sam Dyson : "Thanks, I'm really hoping to help shore up the team's bullpen for the rest of the season."

Jennings: "Yeah...about that..."

"...about that...Hatcher is coming in here now to punch you straight to New Orleans. Good night."

We'd be leading the division right now with Jose Fernandez healthy. :(

That is not a lie.

What is with the pro wrestling references tonight?

Hey colt cabana how you doing?

This scares me so much, I keep telling this to people. If we manage to stay at the pace we're at and then miss out I'll curse myself all offseason knowing that Jose likely would have pushed us over the edge.

The pace we're on is about 83-79, which is not good enough. Even if a healthy Jose was worth 5 more wins (unlikely,) it's still not good enough, it took 90 wins to get a play-off spot last year. No reason to curse yourself, the rest of these guys have to step up big-time or they will fail this year.

Next year. Assuming they sign Stanton, or at least still have him, 90+ wins.

Give me 55 more wins. (55-37)

I think it's more likely than you seem to think.

I agree and it's easily arguable we'd have a 3-4 game lead in the NL East right now with Jose. Think about the trash that replaced him really. Also, consider our bullpen would not have been used as much and yeah, we would without a doubt be in first right now.

On the other hand we would be 6 back with marmol.

Bottom line is Jose isn't here unfortunately. Hopefully Heaney over Wolf can make a big impact. Disco has the stuff to help, just needs to buckle down. And once the lineup is healthy we should begin rolling, hopefully.

Just noticed Dietrich was 2 for 4 with another HR last night. Hehe marlins front office you silly gooses.

How many errors did he have?

How many errors did he have?

Who cares? Errors are only one way to gauge defensive ability (Dietrich isn't very good at the other metrics but that's not my point) and when your 2b is OPSing in the top 5 of mlb you leave him in there.

Oh Garret Jones has 9 and Adeiny has 7 btw. Why aren't they in the minors?
