December 8, 200322 yr 5.)FAU wOOt I really hope you've been to an FAU athletic event to say that, or are you just on the bandwagon. I've been to countless baseball games... Well that's good at least, I was beginning to think you're jumping on the playoff bandwagon all of a sudden. Speaking of baseball, FAU and FIU have a 4 game series this year, should be fun to watch. They always play each other tough. Last year they played 4 games and split the series.

March 17, 200422 yr I will have to say, besides my first true love and parent's alum (UM, all sports), my school this upcoming year (FIU, all sports), and my boys the underdogs (Gonzaga, basketball), I have now started pulling for Stanford in in b-ball. Fro Power! Oh, and I don't really love the Tarheels. But I pull for them whenever they play Duke.

March 17, 200422 yr All sports: Duke and Miami Sucks that they're both going to be in the ACC next year. It was easy to root for both when they were separate. However, I think it will be at least a decade before Miami takes down Duke in basketball, and probably about a century before Duke takes Miami in football. So, I still don't have much to worry about.

March 18, 200422 yr UM and FIU are hardly rivals. UM-FSU, FSU-UF, Alabama-Auburn, SC-Clemson, Mich.-Ohio State are rivals. UM-FIU is not.

March 18, 200422 yr Yea? Tell Max the same thing. I know they don't play against each other in football, of course. But as a whole, yep, there's a rivalry there....especially in baseball.
March 18, 200422 yr There's a pretty good rivalry in baseball. FIU and UM play each other every year a couple of times in baseball and they are always close, tough games. In addition, last season there was a bench clearing brawl at UM when they played, so yeah there's bad blood between the two, that's what makes the games so fun.
