poptart
One of my favorite ex-Marlins. See ya, Hammer. 824 OPS, 195 HR, 2012 Silver Sluggger. http://hardballtalk.nbcsports.com/2014/09/25/report-josh-willingham-is-100-percent-retiring/
fanofthefish
I always liked the Hammer, I still have pictures of him with Jupiter and Carolina as he worked his way up the system, I also liked the way he hit, despite numerous position changes in the minors, sadly he is the only player from the 2000 draft to have played for the team! canada-marlin24
Surprising. I think he still had a few good years left.

Hotcorner
I remember threads here where we were screaming for the front office to call him up. Good hitter, good guy.
fish14
He can still play but i guess the injuries have taken their toll. I would love a guy like hammer off the bench as our 4th outfielder.
Wild Card
I remember threads here where we were screaming for the front office to call him up. Good hitter, good guy. Yea, I remember they just couldn't figure out how to get him up here being blocked by LoDuca/Miggy/Choi in '04 and LoDuca/Miggy/Delgado in '05. Finally got him into LF when they were able to move Lowell to Boston and put Miggy at third. I was surprised that when they finally gave him a chance to start, after all the time they invested with him as a catcher, they didn't leave him there despite a vacancy. I guess when your OF has the likes of Chris Aguila/Eric Reed/Reggie Abercrombie/Joe Borchard roaming around you gotta do what you gotta do, lol. Wild Card
Great career considering he almost never got a shot.
Rabbethan
One of my favorite Marlins for the few years he was around. Sad to see him go. Surprising. I think he still had a few good years left. He always had terrible knees, probably finally caught up with him. His career would have never gotten off the ground if it wasn't for cortisone shots.
