We have two hitting coaches SO WHY CAN WE NOT HIT?

Because we have 2 hitting coaches? We did fine with one.

This team is fucking garbage.

Management is garbage.

We're never going to fucking be a respectable team. Even our superstar looks like a pile of shit.

Ozuna and Baker go down looking at fastball down the heart of the plate.

Tell me he fucking paints with a slider or something.

I want to fucking implode but I am not going to. We have lost 3 games to the braves giving up a total of 7 runs.

Latos wasn't the problem. It was the fucking lack of any semblance of an offense. Dee is the only one putting any contact on the ball consistently right now, and he can't do it all on his own. It's fucking horrible watching this night in and night out.

I put it in the GDT and I'll put it here.

The hitting coaches have to take some of the blame for this. Hitter after hitter we are just looking at pitches pumped right down the middle. I can understand taking a strike against a guy struggling a bit to throw them but to continue to do so in 1-1 and 1-2 counts when the pitches are right at your belt is absolutely inexcusable. I want explanations because all of our hitters did that same thing at least once tonight.

Stanton was absolutely awful tonight, especially in that last AB, looking at a pitch right down the middle then swinging at a breaking pitcher's pitch on the outside corner on the next pitch before striking out. He looks like shit up there. I can understand he may be pressing because he feels he needs to pick the slack up from his teammates who aren't doing shit. But man, does it look bad.

Latos was good. Battled through two delays. Had good movement and velo early. Two of the runs he "allowed" were inherited runners allowed to cross by Dyson. Good night for him.

And we lose another where we give up 3 runs or less.

Disheartening to say the fucking least.

Latos is a problem. His arm is roasted. Look at his velocity. Disco is a better pitcher.

Preston points out that we are facing the Braves and they lead the league in pitching! Maybe because they have played us 4 fucking times already.

I'll say this, Red better fucking beat some sense into his fucking players before we lose 9 of our first ten. How aweful of a manager do you have to be to allow this fucking shit to happen? All these fucking expectations and reasonably good guys and you throw out this shit day in and day out. I'm fucking sick of watching them play like horse shit, and I can only assume you all are too

Pres, he's 28 and has 7 years under his belt, buddy. He was performing well in the minors. But no, we'll go with Jeff Baker and his 51/13 K/BB from last year with the game on the line.

Latos has not thrown mid-90's for a while. You can find a compilation of him with the Reds in 2012 on YouTube. He is consistently 91-93 and occasionally 94 or 95.

Baker has been solid. I just don't know what the fuck he was doing.

It's not so much that as it is Red fucking throwing him up against a God fucking RIGHT HANDED PITCHER! He hits LEFTIES WELL. LEFTIES!

Latos isn't a problem. Get with it. The guy was a fucking machine in the band box of Cincy. He's going to be good here. He had a rough start to the year in his first outing and he was hampered by two delays tonight and still pitched well. Go back to his first two innings. His stuff was low-mid 90s and it was all moving. He looked good. No pitcher expects to go through two rain delays and still be in the game but he handled it well.

Remember, two of the three runs he gave up were actually allowed to cross by Dyson.
