Over the past four seasons Kyle Seager has posted 17.0 fWAR, valued at $125.9 million, for an average yearly fWAR that tops Jose Fernandez's career high of 4.1 over his 28 starts in 2013. Fernandez has far more trade value than Seager, but Kyle Seager is no slouch.

November 30, 201510 yr He's making it sound like it has been discussed before. It's not written like something he's just proposing for the sake of his article. I'd love Shelby Miller, definite upgrade there. How much more with Ozuna would it take is a concern though. I'd be afraid of overpaying because of Ozuna's down year because I think straight up is a fair deal.
December 1, 201510 yr Mariners turning their attention to Nori Aoki... That should mean the Ozuna proposal is dead. Good. The more I think about it the more I want Ozuna to stay for a rebound year. I never thought he needed to go but I was ok with using him as pitching bait. Not anymore. If anything, lets wait and see if someone will overpay for him at the trade deadline.

December 2, 201510 yr Although it says the marlins have checked in on Shelby Miller I think it wouldn't be a good trade overall. Marlins would get Miller and Braves would get Ozuna and probably Dunn or another pitcher, but then they would probably want the Marlins to take on a bad contract like Michael Bourn. That right there says no way.
