Do you realize that if we had, for arguments sake, signed, say, Kazmir and Kennedy in December and then went and signed Edwin Jackson in early February (for league minimum) as a veteran bullpen piece and SP depth who could only crack the rotation due to injuries... we'd probably applaud this signing?
