Aaaaaaaand you sir provide the FACTS!!! Woo hooooooo

I've noticed that as we've won, these post game threads are getting shorter and the number of posters fewer. It's it just a coincidence or do we have a lot of negative people on this board who hate the fact they have nothing negative to say? Admin your thoughts?

Hahahaha now you've entered my stats zone. Been watching since day 1. Game number 10 is just as important as game 140 in my eyes

I don't know if it's that we're negative but it's just so much easier to watch a win and go out and do something else... but when there's a loss there's this dying urge to come on here and bitch and vent with people who understand us. It's not that we're negative it's that we need an outlet for our frustration more than for our joy. That's the simple of it I think.

It's always like this. It's not that people are negative it's just that there's more to say when we lose. It gets boring just repeating "yay good game player X!"

well you already know from me, when marlins win, I watch other baseball games. when they lose, well I guess I hang out with my wife. and Brazilian soap operas are not fun.

Same attitude. I prefer positive discussions than negative ones. Good vibes.

Literally spot on. If we lose and I try to talk to anyone about it outside of the forums, other than my dad, they're just gonna give me generic responses. I like that I can go on here say how much I hate this ball club and have 30+ people agree with me and share the same frustration. Thanks for bringing this to light.

If that's the case, then that is sad that there's more emphasis on misery than joy. It should really be the opposite. I mean when we win I don't want to do something else I want to celebrate with other fans. That's the cool part about being surrounded by fans, no? That you can celebrate successes.

Chen was very solid but after a decent start to the season, Breslow has had some rough outings.

If only we had Dunn and Capps.

Also, we may have scored 7 leaving the bases loses 3-4 times, that will normally haunt you at the end of the game.

We have power, we have pitching, we have contact, we have speed, we have fight.

But do we have culture of winning?

the homestand coming up will have a lot to say about that.

Bour , Realmuto and Dietrich all coming along offensively. Good to see.

Also solid pitching from Conley and Chen.

There really is no need for Breslow anymore. He gets righties out better than he does lefties. Mattingly continues to go to him and he has proven is how infective he is. DFA him already and bring up Wittgren or Ellington. Although it hasn't been 10 days since Nick got optioned.

Mattingly likes having two lefties in the bullpen even if one of them sucks. Or, in this case, even if both of them suck.
