You all are living in a fantasy world if you think Dee's 2015 production was not aided by PEDs.

I rode in a unicorn on my way to the message board today and ate some booty o's while posting.

Vince with a funny!  LOL

I agree with pretty much everything you said, but Chen has done his job in giving us a quality start in every outing with the exception of Opening Day. The bullpen just hasn't held some of them.

Chens getting paid too much for his job to be simply having a quality start. Miami didn't sign him to come have a 4.5 era, but unfortunately, that's probably what they will get

probably not. Chen is better than he's currently pitching and his periphs suggest as much (velocity downtick concerning but he did the same thing to start last year). He'll be fine and I expect sub 3.75 ERA pitching from here on out

I think he is doing just fine and he will balance out as the season goes. I am more concerned about the pitchers that follow Fernandez, Conley, Chen.

The only one good thing that we got from Dee's suspension was "Dietrich in the lineup EVERYDAY",so I don't know what would happen after Dee comes back.

A fantasy is when you make things up right? Since you absolutely can't prove he took PEDs in 2015, you're making this assumption up. You're in your own fantasy world too.

This doesn't surprise me in the least.

Lighten up sour puss. We are 17-14 enjoy it. This is all friendly banter.

I think what happened is Dee went above the accepted level of those PEDs. It's not like they run a test, and if there is any trace, they are suspended. There are allowable levels of substances. I'm sure a careful athlete with a good dr can skirt the line with masking agents. My guess is Dee fucked something up and the test was just over the allowance. Still, no evidence.

This actually makes a lot of sense too.

Like maybe Dee caught the flu and when he went to take his Theraflu he accidentally took the adult dosage instead of the kiddie dosage and BAM 80-game suspension!

Well fuck you and the unicorn you rode in on  :8_laughing:

I learned this in a philosophy class many years ago, it's a simple premise...

Just because the floor is wet after it rains doesn't mean you can assume it rained because the floor is wet.

I really hope so. I would be pleseantly shocked if he ends up with a sub 4.0 era at the end of the year. I just don't see it.

Agreed.  The two games I watched him pitch he looked very hittable.

Chen has had 2 bad outings, opening day and against the Phils.  Every other outing to my recollection has been decent but not great. He's been hurt when departing with two outs and a couple of runners on base by Breslow and Morris letting them score. Just want to see some real good clean outings from him (0, 1 or 2 runs in 6-8 innings) which I know he's capable of.

I think the dodger one he started was very good.
