July 20 Marlins Phillies Game 3

This is easier than I thought. Maybe if I had posted more the last few seasons we'd have a few more championships in the bag.

Mets @ Cubs starts at 2:20 PM with Colon (3.11) vs Hendricks (2.41) pitching.  Hopefully the Cubbies will help us out. And it wouldn't hurt if the Dodgers (@ Nationals) repeat last night's performance.  I plan to keep track of it during tonight's game.

All we can do is wish...................

I think tonight's game will tell us if we can make the playoffs and have any shot at winning more than a wild card play in game. Chen is rested after the break and facing an awful Phillies lineup tonight. He is facing 9 righties, but literally only 2 are decent MLB hitters. He has to go at least 6 innings with 2 ER or less. Otherwise, it's going to be really hard to win a series against good teams - and we have a tough schedule coming up.

Lol, oh yeah, if we lose tonight we might as well throw in the towel!

Though the dodgers losing isn't a bad option either.

That's true, but winning the division solves everything so as long as Dodgers buries Mets their win is fine with me

Is Ramos off tonight?

Haven't heard and Ramos' last two saves have been 1-2-3 so I would hope (a) the offense scores enough to the point a save is a moot point and/or (b) Chen goes far enough in (6+) so Rodney can pitch the 9th

Well 1 wish came true as the Cubs meet the Mets 6-2.  Mets are 1.5 games behind in the division and also helps us in the wild card.  But are we satisfied with the wild card???

I THINK NOT!!!!!

So we can check in how the Dodgers vs. Nationals while the Marlins win tonight, right?  :high5

i fully expect Chen to give up at least 3 HR in that park.

I fully expect Tommy Joesph to go yard
