Posted July 31, 20168 yr I guess San Diego gave us a dead arm for a dead arm. Solid offense. Funny how lucky we are to get Preston even on a day where you would think.. "FINALLY NO PRESTON!!"
July 31, 20168 yr I hate Ichiro after this game. Now, the team is running for playoff race but some crowd have just concerned about his milestone. These small thing could break the team chemistry I think. We have to unite for the goal, personal record is next. It seems he has been refused to earn base on balls.
July 31, 20168 yr I guess San Diego gave us a dead arm for a dead arm. Solid offense. Funny how lucky we are to get Preston even on a day where you would think.. "FINALLY NO PRESTON!!" You know, the other day during the 12 o'clock camper game broadcast Leiter and Rich were talking about today being switched to FS1 and Leiter said something like 'that's awesome that you can find a table somewhere and watch that game as a fan now' . There was an awkward silence and Rich said something that I can't exactly remember back that was uncomfortable. I think he was a tad jealous that he didn't get play by play on the big broadcast but Preston got to do color. Anyone rematch that the other day?
July 31, 20168 yr having to hear Preston tonight was like the cherry on top of that disaster of a game.
July 31, 20168 yr It was a beautiful game and Preston won a ring with the Cardinals, hater. so? doesnt mean he belongs in a booth.

I see where you're coming from but I don't think chemistry is something this team is lacking or going to lose. Pretty sure all the guys are just as excited as the fans are for Ichiro to hit 3000. If anything this will bring in more fans which is something we need right now. I can't believe how little fans are attending Marlins games this year.

It's not his fault people want to see him reach a milestone. And as far as him "refusing" to earn walks, he has a career walk rate of 6 percent. He was never one to walk much. As a matter of fact, this year, his walk rate is 10.6 percent, which is, by far, a career high. Plus, if this club is so fragile that Ichiro going for 3,000 ruins the team chemistry, then they are pathetic. It's not gonna happen.
July 31, 20168 yr Reminder that Das's Cardinals traded a major league ready Kyle Barraclough for less than half a season of a shook Steve Cishek.
July 31, 20168 yr I hate Ichiro after this game. Now, the team is running for playoff race but some crowd have just concerned about his milestone. This isn't true. I've been to three games this month, the crowds are growing and Ichiro is not the only reason. The Ichiro thing is hot now because people at the games literally could see the 3,000 hit that very night so they're extra amped up but that doesn't mean they aren't there for the playoff race as well. The fans know what's up. These bigger crowds the last week or so are not only for Ichiro.
July 31, 20168 yr Reminder that Das's Cardinals traded a major league ready Kyle Barraclough for less than half a season of a shook Steve Cishek. Did they send any cash back?
July 31, 20168 yr Did they send any cash back? No, gentleman Dan Jennings didn't want to take further advantage of Das's Cardinals.

And to see Ichiro. And the play off run excitement I must admit. But since the Marlins lost both I decided to take a bullet for the team and stay home!!!! Thank you, thank you for your applause
July 31, 20168 yr No, gentleman Dan Jennings didn't want to take further advantage of Das's Cardinals. ya that trade didnt work out. oh well.
July 31, 20168 yr Reminder that Das's Cardinals traded a major league ready Kyle Barraclough for less than half a season of a shook Steve Cishek. Good. Fuck the Cardinals.
