August 10, 20168 yr Author @pollyvonwog the bitch silent again after a good Rodney outing
August 10, 20168 yr Author Stanton sore hip out for tomorrow. Bittersweet win. Don said he was going to be off tomorrow due to it anyway
August 10, 20168 yr Stanton sore hip out for tomorrow. Bittersweet win. I think a bittersweet win is when you lose someone for an extended period of time. No reason to think Stanton won't start Friday night. Bbbbbuuuuuuuuttttttt it is Stanton we're talking about and he's overdue for his annual extended stint on the DL. Anyway, SEASON BACK ON. Rodney has found his stuff (swagger). Thomas Koehler pitched his ass off. Dee Gordon looks realllllllyyyy rusty but at least he is drawing walks.
August 10, 20168 yr Felt good to get that one after last nights debacle. I have to admit we reached 60 wins a lot quicker than I would have anticipated to start the season. Sent from my iPhone using MarlinsBaseball.com mobile app
August 10, 20168 yr Thank you Tom Koehler. And fuck you Cashner. I know he didn't play but still, fuck him.
August 10, 20168 yr Today? One. Would have been two today if we had won the game that ended early this morning.
August 10, 20168 yr Muts lost Cardinals down by 3 but Reds pen may be worse than marlins Actually the Reds pen might be the worst in baseball history.
August 10, 20168 yr So based on him playing the majority of the game and even nearly hitting a homer and coming off last night's marathon, hopefully we can assume Stanton is just sore and tired and with two full days of rest will be fine for Fri?
August 10, 20168 yr That was a very bland game, but a must win to keep us in it, looking forward to the day game
August 10, 20168 yr Stanton sore hip out for tomorrow. Bittersweet win. Did he fall or something? Anybody see anything?
August 10, 20168 yr I hope he's okay, but I guess the good news is, unlike past years, we've remained solid despite his mediocrity. He's not exactly carrying the team this year like he did in the past.
August 10, 20168 yr In his last 18 starts (excluding first 5 of the season), Koehler is 7-5 with a 3.10 ERA. Good going Tom!
August 10, 20168 yr We basically acquired Hellickson at the deadline with TK pitching like he has lately. And for the sake of not losing old TK we got Cashner.
