September 3, 20169 yr So the Marlins lost tonight. One of the least shocking losses of the season (even with the horrific call in the 1st inning). But so did every other team ahead of the Marlins in the NL Wild Card race. They all lost. So with a full month to go in the season the Marlins find themselves 4 games back (in the loss column because that's what really matters) of the 2nd Wild Card spot (currently the dreaded Cardinals). Stay with me here......... It's very possible that the Marlins will win one game in Cleveland. After leaving Cleveland, the Marlins will play 13 of their next 19 games against the Phillies and the Braves. I totally get that it will take a miracle but if they go 13-6 during that stretch they could keep it interesting down to the wire. #TheMiracleMarlins
September 3, 20169 yr Author Fangraphs gives this thread a 7.3% chance. So you're saying there's a chance, DTrain? Yes.
September 3, 20169 yr Finally, somebody has the same appreciation for Mike Bennett that I do. Lets get things started. Do you believe in THE Miracle?
September 3, 20169 yr I christen "The Miracle" the official rally icon of this franchise. All game threads must now include mention and video proof of The Miracle, and The Miracle will lead us to the promise land. We shall make the playoffs as long as we all stand together and truly believe in THE Miracle. It has been known.
September 3, 20169 yr With all our struggles, every other team has their problems too. It would take a lot and we'd need some help, but this season has shown me that it isn't impossible, even with our shit August. Yea I believe.
September 3, 20169 yr Author Getting swept this weekend in Cleveland wont do our chances much good. Marlins are a very slight underdog today (Indians are -110). Pure speculation on my part but I think that it's more likely we win one game than get swept.
September 3, 20169 yr Yea I believe. Also believe that children are our future , also believe in UFOs. does everyone have their foil caps?
September 3, 20169 yr 2016 NL Wild Card Race = Which of these five teams can suck the least amount of dick in September?
September 3, 20169 yr LETS CLAP FOR VICTORY ????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
September 3, 20169 yr To be fair, we couldn't beat the Braves when they were terrible. Gonna be tougher to beat them now that they have a better team than us.
September 3, 20169 yr Our changes are bad, however not bad enough where id bet alot of money on them not making it
September 3, 20169 yr Author To be fair, we couldn't beat the Braves when they were terrible. Gonna be tougher to beat them now that they have a better team than us. If anything, those early losses vs the Braves show you that strange things happen in baseball.
September 3, 20169 yr If the marlins make the playoffs I'll pay for Admin to fly to Miami and take him to a marlins game. If he's alive. I expect the Marlins to add the Admin Memorial sleeve patch any day now.
September 4, 20169 yr Author If the marlins make the playoffs I'll pay for Admin to fly to Miami and take him to a marlins game. If he's alive. Just to clarify, the playoffs is the Wild Card play in game?
September 4, 20169 yr Author Koehler and Salazar have basically the same WHIP. Winnable game. Marlins are huge underdogs, though. Need some kind of fuxking Miracle

September 5, 20169 yr Yesterday's loss was really one of the worst because it's one of those one player losses, you can include Donnie as well but when the game ends and you see the guys sitting deflated in the dugout I think its one of those where they all think "well this one wasn't on me at all" they did everything right to win except for Rodney. I know they're all professional athletes but man there has to be that sense of resentment and anger and just thinking fuck Rodney and Donnie for this one. Kinda just venting but that's where my head is today.
September 5, 20169 yr Getting swept this weekend in Cleveland wont do our chances much good. Marlins are a very slight underdog today (Indians are -110). Pure speculation on my part but I think that it's more likely we win one game than get swept. Damn you both. For different reasons, but damn you both.
