I think he did a good job in a long relief / mid relief role. He pitched multiple innings often and that always helps considering many of our starters only like to pitch 5 innings.

 

 

McGowan could come back but with the season he had he might get better offers elsewhere. And with the bumpy career he's had, if he can cash in now he absolutely should. He's a good story without much publicity.
