April 9, 20188 yr I really don't like that our minor league B rated prospect got an "appreciation thread' similar to the greatest player in Marlins history.
April 9, 20188 yr Harrison is at a new level for the first time so he should be expected to struggle a little bit in the first half and then hopefully adjust and crush the 2nd half for an overall line similar to last year. They might have rushed him a bit given that he split last year between low A and high A and didnt spend more than half a season in high A, although Jupiter isnt exactly a hitters paradise and he reportedly impressed in spring so that might have played into their decision.
April 30, 20188 yr He's still gonna K a lot regardless, but he will improve as the year goes on. Important thing is that he shows the tools and continues to improve, which he has both with his speed, power, as well as his defense. He will be fine. Him and Diaz have done about as you could expect for guys who K a lot anyways at new levels for the first time. Key is to show improvement throughout the year
April 30, 20188 yr I've always believed, as other have, that harrison would end up being the best piece in the deal. Love his swing. Compact and quick to the ball. Can't wait to see him up in the show.
