Will we avoid 100 losses?

Featured Replies

Not that it matters in any way (because some of you will say it's stupid to even ask this question)... but just curious if you guys think we'll avoid 100 losses or not?

Only asking because, as bad as we've been, it's not gonna be too hard to avoid 100 losses and that in itself seemed pretty impossible to most when making preseason predictions.

So, just for the sake of conversation, what do you think?

Not according to Fangraphs

Maybe we should look at Fangraphs, and just skip the seasons altogether.

Not sure what you mean

Statistically, 6-10 to go to avoid.

Hmm... well, we has been scored 30 runs thru 11 games, recently. Also, our pitchers' ERA were still over 5.00 in September.

So, @SilverBullet knew the answer.

If the Marlins play 162 games this year I think it’s more likely than unlikely they lose 100 games

It just doesn't matter.

Wtf is up with you guys constantly telling each other that nothing matters.  Why are you even posting?  Of course it matters.

If they lose, 98, 100 or 102 how does it matter? The total losses is meaningless because no matter what its a lot of losses.

What does it mean to “matter”?  I guess if you really don’t care whether they win or lose then it doesn’t matter to you.  But I would prefer that they lose as few games as possible. And I certainly don’t want them to reach the 100 loss benchmark.

If you think caring about the difference between 98,100,102 losses makes you a real fan and me not one... I don't even know what to say.

This bullpen will guarantee 100+ losses... I really hope we blow the pen up  for next season, because most of these guys fucking suck

Need some total re-tooling.

Yep. There isn’t a single one with an ERA less than 4.  Easily the worst bullpen in baseball.  Such a disgrace

I don't think have any rebuilding team with good lineup or good rotation or good bullpen,it just doesn't make sense, but the same lineup, rotation and bullpen maybe perform much better in a contending situation just because the difference atmosphere.
