March 27, 20197 yr isn't the green ivy supposed to be the batter eyes area? It is, this is off to the left but from that BP pic it would appear it could be in the player's field of view.
March 27, 20197 yr That pic is off centered, the batters eye is ivy. The white is not in the batters eye.
March 27, 20197 yr This would be a more accurate angle of the batter’s eye. I don’t see a problem here...move on.
March 27, 20197 yr That or Blackman made a passing remark and the reporter decided to be a jerk to marlins park because that’s what all the cool kids do
March 27, 20197 yr That or Blackman made a passing remark and the reporter decided to be a jerk to marlins park because that’s what all the cool kids do We should be cool kids.
March 28, 20197 yr That or Blackman made a passing remark and the reporter decided to be a jerk to marlins park because that’s what all the cool kids do This seems the most plausible.
March 28, 20197 yr This is from MLB The Show but I think it shows pretty well how the CF zone is not close enough to interfere with the batters eye...
March 28, 20197 yr This is from MLB The Show but I think it shows pretty well how the CF zone is not close enough to interfere with the batters eye... Looks like a late arriving crowd.
March 28, 20197 yr Something just hit me, can someone check to see if the Stanton Home Run Markers are still in the ballpark? I got a feeling they probably peeled them off the floor and melted em for scrap metal.
March 28, 20197 yr Looks like a late arriving crowd. Pretty accurate. Might even say exceeded expectations considering there's even people in that section.

March 28, 20197 yr Why does the uniform look blue? It's in the shadows of a 4pm game, looks normal under the sun. Also I snapped that pic with my phone off the tv so I'm sure it downgrades the quality. Lighting and colors in this game is top notch.
March 28, 20197 yr Pretty accurate. Might even say exceeded expectations considering there's even people in that section. that area dont get much people maybe on saturday their get more that area i was in corner when Stanton hit hr that part park upper deck

March 29, 20197 yr I guess they are using more of the ivy throughout the stadium and not just in center field.
March 29, 20197 yr Does anyone believe they'll make even more renovations after this season, too? Not just a one year project?
March 29, 20197 yr Does anyone believe they'll make even more renovations after this season, too? Not just a one year project? Probably only minor things.
March 29, 20197 yr Probably only minor things. No, Major things - this is a big league ballclub, sir.
March 29, 20197 yr I think it was Dave Hyde today in the Sun Sentinel who pointed out that the Red Sox do not advertise the culinary options at the ballpark to attract fans. That's the main thing that the Marlins are talking about these days; that and the improvements to the ballpark. That is obviously because the team will lose near 100 games. Since we will likely be in the same boat in 2020, I would expect them to make other upgrades and sell those next winter/spring to attract fans.
