March 26, 20197 yr So they did put some color and design back into the concession areas.
March 27, 20197 yr There is definitely color now but it seems specific to the concessions as opposed to random color everywhere. Also the last pic shows the fence put around the ballpark, apparently it was too open before, the public could walk through freely, and it has now been closed in for added security. March 27, 20197 yr Good work @rmc523 you ruined it for everyone. Holy shit this makes perfect sense. There was no fence until @rmc523 started peering into their windows weekly.
March 27, 20197 yr The logo on top of the CF zone is up and looks awesome. I don't think this was there yesterday.
March 27, 20197 yr I didn't hate the green walls or the home run sculpture but looking at these pics side by side it's hard to argue that they didn't upgrade. More sleek and modern now as opposed to what now looks like an overly gaudy and colorful amusement park ride. Even for those who liked the old look I don't think it'll age well. It hasn't even been a year since starting the changes and I'm already thrilled that the old look is gone.
March 27, 20197 yr I'm actually kind of surprised they put the giant M logo in center field, I thought for sure that was just a placeholder used in the renders. And it really does look awesome.

March 27, 20197 yr If it's gonna be done, they gotta do it today. It may just be used this way for the first homestand and changed on next road trip. Marlins hitters would have the same complaints.

March 27, 20197 yr i thought the batters eye was ivy. So nothing can be White adjacent to the eye? I can't think of a stadium that has it like that.
March 27, 20197 yr I can't think of a stadium that has it like that. Here’s photos of all MLB batters eyes. Plenty of them have seating adjacent. This would seem to present problems no more than a white building. Assuming the batters eye is constructed to be an appropriate size then whatever is near it shouldn’t matter. Looks like Cincinnati has a white riverboat on top of theirs fwiw. http://www.baseballessential.com/news/2018/05/29/countdown-ranking-all-30-mlb-stadium-batters-eyes/
March 27, 20197 yr The sun glare is making it look white anyway. It actually is silver or gray I think. I'm not sure it'll be an issue but if other players besides Blackmon complain, then it may end up with a darker coat of paint.
