April 17, 20197 yr so over 1/3 of their runs have come in two games so far this season (the early win against COL and the recent win against the Phils). outside of those 2 they aren't even averaging 2 runs a game but they're giving up 5 a game. wow, just wow. watching tragic history unfold must be part of the "experience"

April 17, 20197 yr It's really difficult to be a fan of a rebuilding team, look, it's just the first month of the second year of this rebuilding but the bad feelings of watching these suck games already make it difficult to keep following the team daily, I just want to say it's a mission impossible to support a team like the pre-champion Astros for five years, so it's not like I'm too greedy or impatient to wait for five years or more to want this team to contend in three years, but it's really too difficult to suffer these shit for five years.

April 17, 20197 yr Amazingly, they have already played 18 games. The faster the season goes by, the better. All we can hope for is that the young guys take the next step. Not so thus far for guys like Riddle and Brinson.
April 17, 20197 yr Who's our Opener tho? I know this is a joke but honestly maybe this is the best path for Chen. He clearly can’t exist as a starting pitcher. The excuses we’ve heard all year about his relief appearances is that he takes forever to warm up and that it’s not a role he is used to. So how bout we deploy him as an opener once every five days when Urena pitches. Give Chen an inning. If he gets through give him another. After two innings give urena the ball and see if he can get it to the seventh when we turn it over to our magnificent bullpen.
