I'm not Don Mattingly but just going off everything I've read from every reporter following the team, Guerrero Conley Steckenrider and Romo are all locked in barring injury or severe underperformance. I'm assuming they think Guerrero isn't gonna get any better in the minors, he is who he is.

I'm gonna throw you the one line nobody wants to say... Chen is probably at his best now compared to any other time in his run as a Marlin... I think he'll have a decent 2019. He's as healthy as he's been and he had plenty of solid home games last year. If they use him right they can get some use out of him while he eats innings so we don't overwork our young starters. There's no reason to release him at this point. Let him get into the season and "earn" his release so to speak. We're in last place regardless so I hope nobody is worried about Chen in terms of costing us games in the standings.
