March 24, 20215 yr Honest question..... is there ANY personality left in the ballpark? Seems like all the "Features" have been removed. Fishtank, HR whateverthefuckitwascalled, lime green walls, art throughout the concourse, and I think the bobbleheads are all gone. Last time I was there the 8th street eats section was gone or closed. Clevelander was rumored to be closed too right before covid? I mean, at this point its turning into Tropicana Field with a retractable roof. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong?

The Taste of Miami section is gone but that type of food is mostly still available in different areas throughout the ballpark though yes many of the items are different or changed. We still aren't sure the fish tanks are gone though. Every single "article" has only referenced the original tweet which was unclear at best. #Journalism.

I get the feeling that most people who rag on Tropicana Field have never been there. I think it's a fun stadium, and like Marlins Park, they've invested a lot in making it better. That said, I think folks are confusing "bizarre and unprofessional" with "character." What is the "character" of T-Mobile Park or Truist Park? What bizarre features do they have? The coolest thing about Marlins Park is and always will be it's huge ass window with a great view of the Miami skyline -- something that eyesore sculpture was partly covering up.

Yeah, Taste of Miami was actually improved in the sense that they now made just about all concession stands have a "taste of Miami" with better food, rather than just one corner of the park hidden behind a wall. There is an argument to having some unique aspects of it. For example, I did like the colored zones and flooring, which has been replaced with white/navy blue/gray everywhere. But keep in mind, they're the same group that give the team black uniforms and doesn't want to use their most unique color for anything other than a BP jersey. I think the new look is nice, but is more clinical and generic. I feel there's a line between the generic and Loria that would work, and I'd imagine as the years go on, it'll trend in that direction.

I’ve been there, often actually. I compare it to an indoor flea market that 85% of the stores are closed for the day or out of business. The little “cutouts” in the concourses they’ve put things in strike me as the stores malls have that let others use the window space for advertising. the stadium has no personality outside of the ray tank.

Trust has that cool little restaurant and shopping area right outside. When I play hockey up there it’s a great spot to take a date even on non game days. T Mobile park I have no clue which that is.... is that safeco park w a new name? Atleast the top can come off and you feel like your outside. Tropicana literally feels like the US1 Indoor Flea Market. That skyline is beautiful but I got a feeling that windows gonna have ads on it soon at the rate the stadium is being renovated. thw center field porch / deck is much bigger than the sculpture by the way
