Whatever you do, don’t throw inside to Acuna.

Unless you're a member of the bullpen not named Bender

That's exactly what that bitch wants. It is why he throws a tantrum every time. He knows he can't hit well on those inside pitches.

Throw inside and get his ass out.

What about the rest of him?  Do they give partial outs?

It's wild to think that there's this guy who is a legitimate super star in the sport who has a glaring weak spot in his game, but teams are scared to exploit that weakness because they're essentially told they are not allowed to. Pitch Acuña inside and he's just a guy. But if you HAVE to pitch to him in his hot zone every time? Of course he's going to be a super star. Imagine if players got ejected for throwing Giancarlo Stanton low and outside sliders??

i honestly believe Acuna can't hit inside stuff because he simply stands so goddamn close that it's literally impossible for him to swing the bat and hit anything on the inner part of the plate.

Man, I would pay good money to see an in-his-prime Roger Clemens or Nolan Ryan pitching to Acuna.  Dare him to glare at them like he does at anyone who throws in.  Clemens would murk his ass in an alley after the game.

The only possible good thing that could come from this is if they move Thompson to Sunday so that Pablo does not have to face his kryptonite.

Just remember, when Donnie says opener, he means traditional starter. Bass will go until he gives up 6 runs in 3 innings.

How can we possibly do another bullpen game without a fresh arm or two added?

Morimondo will be the bulk guy tonight. Another lose today for sure so that maybe we can win tomorrow.

no Cooper today. Don't want him to ride 5-for-7 with two home runs. Gotta let him rest up, you know, with the All Star Break so far away who knows when he'll get another chance to rest

Don earning that contract

We are about 9 minutes away from like a million Georgians assuming that Bass is going to hit Acuna and then erasing it from their memory when it doesn't happen so that they can continue thinking that we always throw at him.
