Yeah. Just good that they're at least considering him rather than flat out ignoring that he exists.

Agree - just don't see it going anywhere.  I'll believe it when it happens.

Please just get Reynolds.

If it's between Reynolds and Soler, sell the fucking farm I don't care anymore.

I'm starting to lose patience with these people

We have the least money but have the most prospects, our battlefield is the trade market.

Just call up Bleday and put him in center.

Or that. Anything but a modern-day Saltalamacchia signing

When the most patient people lose patience, it's really time to panic.

This means they don't feel good about their chances on Reynolds....

You know, they can still sign Correa.

It's gotta be Reynolds.

If they're holding out this long he's gotta be the target and they're still working that with the Pirates who don't need to trade him so they're holding steady on their demands. It has to be that because if the main target was really one of the next tier FAs they could have already gotten him.

It's gotta be that or even Castellanos or else they would have already completed a deal.

That's my hunch.

Pay no attention to who is working out in center. Donnie has to run camp with who he has and at the moment he needs to pick his CF from who is available. Nothing more than that.

Agreed

I think they're trying very hard to get Reynolds but are not close.

Castellanos is not in the picture.

They have their periphery on the B-list options and are prepared to overpay to save face.

That's what I think is going on.

Meanwhile they're completing ignoring the RP market because they're so focused on CF.

Pay no attention to spring training until they make the moves.

Yea something like this.

Why do u think they're not close with Reynolds? Not giving up enough and/or Pirates holding their ground knowing they have leverage?
