Is it surrender or is it something reasonable in the middle?

Unconditional surrender

Players were never getting the level of Super 2 or whatever they wanted.

Eliminating blatent service time manipulation and establishing a bonus pool for min salary players is a bigger deal honestly and a more realisitic option.

Being at the level of Arb  they were at and then now lowering that demand is simply a lot of noise and shows you are willing to be reasonable to the public largely.

and ownership is given an inch and proceed to take a mile.

I dont get what their end game is, I assume they figure the players are going to cave in the end and they will get exactly what the want or something?

Owners must think players arent serious about not agreeing to expanded playoffs et al.

Players are going to be back at 10 postseason teams here soon.

God, one can only hope.

Let's go players! Stick it to the greedy owners and don't let them have a universal DH either!

Please I'll love you forever.

Jokes aside, I thought the players were being unreasonable out of the gate, but they've come down now. The owners need to stop acting offended and come down too.

I'm starting to think they want to ultimately cancel games to really squeeze the players.

And the owners were perfectly reasonable right?

Gotta continue on with this pro ownership angle of course.

I don't know if any of the 30 owners killed your cat or called you ugly or something... but I'm agreeing with you that the players are currently being the most reasonable, but you likely just started foaming at the mouth after reading the first half of my first sentence and just didn't calm down afterwards.

Das likes confrontation.

MLB and the MLBPA agree on this point.

Baseball would come back sooner or later …

By the way, it's the difference between popular journalist with unpopular one, with the same content and post time.
