I get it, once in a while you get an inning where you have something brewing on offense but can't get the run. It happens. But this team squanders so many scoring chances.  They have some of the worst approaches at the plate.  Either they get lucky or they shit the bed.  Sad part is we don't have many good or elite hitting prospects tearing up the minor leagues that could force a promotion...

He’s never had incredible command, but if he’s losing velo thats a problem. He’s lived in that 95-97 range, even touching 99 at times. 
 

that bomb he gave up to Pavin was 92mph. Right in the middle of his typical fastball and his changeup velo.

They need to go acquire real hitters from other organizations ASAP. Not just for this season, but for the next 2-3 years
