May 3 - DBacks @ Marlins - 640 PM

D-Backs bringing in a lefty. If Jazz was hitting as hot as he has been Donnie would pinch hit. Does he pinch hit the struggling Sanchez? Doubt it.

These last couple of games are reminding me of last season, when the Marlins were getting shutout by teams' #5 starters. How disappointing.

Do these guys even get scouting reports? Guy throws 70% sliders, and you’re way out front on 2 effing sliders.

If I come down to south Florida this year. I am gonna go to a game and bring a sharpie. If I get a homer I am thinking about writing on the ball "Fire Mattingly and DFA Garcia." and then throwing it back on the field. What do you guys think?

Why on earth would you be thinking anything other than trying to wait back and go the other way against a guy like that? Our offensive approach is abysmal

If Elieser is pitching, just grab a seat in RF and wait for a lefty to come up to bat 2nd time through

The people sitting next to you be thinking that you're autographing the HR ball yourself.

And honestly, it’s more fire Kim Ng at this point than Don. The roster construction is my biggest issue (not the only)

Just buy a baseball and do that.

Why do I get the feeling that the Marlins would re-sign Robert Dugger (DFA by the Rays a couple of days ago) before they would bring up Max Meyer?

Only if they can talk about the hard contact rate

JP Arencibia back in the TV booth AGAIN for the west coast trip? Jeez. What happened to the rotation?! I thought JP was only getting 50 games, he's gotten all but six so far (I'm including tomorrow's game).

So, I haven't been on this board for awhile. What's the overall consensus on JP Arencibia's announcing so far this season? Do people like him, or making them miss Hollandsworth for a minute?

Strictly as a broadcaster, I've liked him more than Todd. Just wondering about this rotation we were told we were getting in the broadcast booth. Seems odd.

I wouldn't be surprised if he gets named permanent color commentator next season. He's got that typical Miami accent, so most viewers can relate to him. And pretty goofy, so it doesn't get that boring, compared to the dullness of the Hollandsworth and Severino combo.

They seem to have a much better chemistry, too.
