I know he has 6 homers in that stretch, but he literally only has 3 infield singles to go with those homers. He has also struck out 22 times with at least one K in each of the last 14 games. An OBP in the low 200s is not acceptable for a leadoff hitter.

Jazz has a career OBP of .298. This year it is .301. Fangraphs rates .300 as poor, but OBP is down in recent years so it is probably between poor and below average in Jazz's career. You want one of your better guys in that department leading off. Jazz isn't the guy.

    Best this team can do is bat him 9th. SOler can lead off some more being an OBP machine and all.

    Berti has to lead off. Put Jazz in the middle. Soler can hit 9th until he warms up or Garcia cools down.
